  • A Visit

Ezra and I are getting more accustomed to each other, but we're still not on a first name basis.  Of course, he is always making interesting smells.  So, that's OK, I guess.

We are getting accustomed to each other

I don't know what is going on.  I never felt this way before.  Mudder and Fadder pay so much attention to this little guy, and I feel so ignored, but I sometimes get this feeling that someone is watching me when we are all together.

    Is someone watching me

In other news, Auntie Honour and two of her children, Norah and Sammy, stopped by the other day to see the baby.  It was OK, but Norah was kinda stand-offish.

Auntie Honour and Norah Norah was unsure

On the other hand, she couldn't stay away from the window bench.  I wonder why?  I guess we'll never know, because I've never seen anything out there.  Because I am not allowed up on the bench.  Because Mudder and Fadder think I would try to talk to the people outside.

    I wonder why

I don't know about you, but this was a little disturbing to me, as a dog.  Is anybody else seeing this?  Fadder was standing right there and he didn't do anything about it.

I guess I dont understand peopleIs anybody else seeing this

I mean, they don't let me get up on the bench, and I just don't think that's fair.

    it is so unfair

    I guess I just don't understand people.

  • The Devil

Um...I don't know if you know this, but this is the devil:

    The Devil

I had Fadder download this picture of him from the internets.  I don't think he knows who it is.  Of course, I tried to tell Fadder about it when I took him for a walk this evening...you know...to "the Place"...(to outside!)  There were a lot of these...well...Fadder calls them cats, but he doesn't know.  So I yelled at them, and Fadder just pulled on my nose harness and made me go potty.

There are only two things that are worse a cats, and that is two more cats.  Or kittens.  Or cat poo.  Or maybe the lady who makes all the cats come around our neighborhood because she feeds them.

    Learning how to Cope

So Mudder and Ezra and I were playing on the floor a couple of days ago.  Mudder calls this "tummy time," but Ezra's the only one on his tummy.  I think we should call it "tummy-time-for-people-who-can't-walk-and-feet-time-for-everyone-else."

    Playing on the Blanky

Anyway, as you can see, "tummy...time" was over after a while.  Mudder wanted to change Ezra's diaper.

    Tummy Time is Over

Good thing too!  You notice I am not in the room.  Let's just say, I do that outside for a reason.

    Diaper Change

Wow.  He's basically a poopy with a little bit of boy attached.  He fills his pants more often than a...well...let's just say a lot.  So, afterward, Mudder wanted to pick up the blanket, but I was still having "feet-time," so I was not done yet.  I told her so.  I told her it would be just a few more minutes...

    Asserting myself

What the crap!  Can you believe it?  Hello!  Am I here?  I was so angry...

    Can you believe it

So I did some yoga to release the negative energies.

    Yoga Dog

This is the Sphinx pose.  I think I pretty much rocked it.  Maybe I could make a living out of this.  What do you think?  Maybe I could be the first dog-yoga instructor.

  • little brudder

Mom and Dad are ignoring me again, and it's because of my little brudder, Ezra.  He's pink.  I don't like pink.  I think mommy's and daddy's babies should all be grey.

I'm grey, did you notice?  It's pretty much the best color, I think.

    What do you think?

I had Dad take some pictures of me and Mom and Ezra.

Here I am checking out Ezra.  Yep.  It's pretty clear that he's had enough attention...

    IMG_0570

    So I told Mom so.

    IMG_0571

Obviously it wasn't working.  She's not even looking at me anymore.  I was getting tired of this crap...

    IMG_0572

...so I yawned.  Wow.  I have to admit that I do look pretty fierce and cute.  But old whiny-pants-poopy-face wasn't impressed.

    So I gave up.
